Students will learn the principles of painting, how to apply them to landscapes, how to work in acrylic, how to use their equipment and supplies, how to choose a subject and compose it into a pleasing painting, how to mix colors and apply them as well as how to work quickly and with purpose. He will discuss what makes a painting successful and will work on improving individual techniques.
